HEAD OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS – ABU DHABI

The Door Talent is conducting an international executive search for an experienced Head of Regulatory Affairs to join the Abu Dhabi operations of a leading multinational organisation within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. This is a senior strategic leadership position with responsibility for the organisation’s regulatory strategy, compliance framework and interactions with regulatory authorities across the UAE and wider Middle East region. The Role The Head of Regulatory Affairs will lead the regulatory function and work closely with senior regional and global leadership. Key responsibilities will include: Define and execute the company’s regulatory strategy for the UAE and Middle East Lead product registrations, submissions, renewals and regulatory approvals Manage relationships with relevant UAE regulatory authorities Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international regulatory requirements Provide strategic regulatory guidance to executive leadership Lead and develop the Regulatory Affairs team Oversee regulatory intelligence and assess upcoming legislative changes Partner with Medical Affairs, Quality, Commercial, Legal and R&D teams Support new product launches and market-entry strategies Manage complex regulatory projects across multiple markets Represent the organisation in meetings with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
